For millions of kids across America, when school is out, meals disappear. Weekends, holidays, and summer break can bring uncertainty about where their next meal will come from.

Our nation was founded on a shared vision that brought people together and led to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Nearly 250 years later, it's time to rally the nation around another declaration: to nourish every child’s potential.

Because the American Dream starts with a full plate.

This July 4, in honor of America’s 250th anniversary, the Albertsons Companies Foundation’s Nourishing Neighbors program is launching Nourish the American Dream, a bold, nationwide, multi-year movement to help end childhood hunger once and for all.

Maggie's Place is joining the campaign with other organizations across the country to nourish every child’s potential.

From July 1- 7, every dollar we raise supports our mission and contributes to Nourish the American Dream’s collective $5 million goal to help more children access the food they need to grow and thrive.

When a pregnant woman arrives at Maggie's Place, she often arrives with little more than hope.

Many of the women we serve are facing homelessness, poverty, domestic violence, or crisis pregnancies. They come to us looking for safety, stability, and support for themselves and their babies.

For one week only, you can help provide the resources mothers and babies need to thrive.

Our Goal: $5,000

Every dollar raised through Nourish the American Dream helps provide:

    • Safe housing
    • Nutritious food
    • Parenting education
    • Peer support and mentoring
    • Family services
    • Resources that promote long-term stability and independence
