As you may know, an integral part of the Maggie’s Place family is our MissionCorps members. They come into our homes, take care of our moms and babies and become some of our closest friends. And then a year is up, and they move on to their next adventure. This month we say good bye to Erin, Danielle, Lara, Kiki, Emily, Marisa, Molly and Kelly.
We asked Tia Westhoff, Maggie’s Place MissionCorps Liaison, about these special women. “These MissionCorps have given a year of service. It’s impossible to know when you sign up for something like this what your year of service means. Especially all the ways you’ll be stretched, and how you will love through sacrifice. They’ve lived alongside women as they’ve watched their bellies grow, babies grow, and their own capacity to love grow too. Maggie’s Place is grateful beyond measure for their love this year and sends them with all the best wishes for the journey ahead.”
