Do you ever wonder what is accomplished at Maggie’s Place over the course of a year? The outcomes for 2017 are in. Numbers are important, of course, but here we measure emotional impact as well.
“Maggie’s Place has given me stability for the first time in my life. Security that I have a place here, a hot meal, clothes on my baby and my back, support, food and shelter. They helped me to stay sober, sane and manage my time. They’ve made a life long imprint on my life. I never knew how much people cared for others or want to pay it forward.” That’s Tiana, one of the moms served last year.
She’s not alone. One hundred percent of moms surveyed in family coaching reported that Maggie’s Place made a direct improvement on their lives and they would recommend family coaching to a friend. Moms surveyed also gave a perfect satisfaction rating for our family coaching services.
Most exciting, in 2017, Maggie’s Place welcomed 35 new babies. In The Elizabeth House there were 17 moms with nine babies, six born last year. The Hannah House, 20 moms with nine babies, eight born in 2017. At Magdalene 16 moms were housed with 12 new babies. The Michael House hosted 21 moms, 11 babies served and eight born last year.
