Over 100 little ones and their moms turned out for the annual Halloween party at Maggie’s Place last weekend.
Party planners and volunteers came from the Scottsdale National Charity League and East Valley Women’s League. Maggie’s Place kids, and moms, enjoyed games, face painting, costumes, treats and crafts. They left all ready for tomorrow’s spirited evening.
The National Charity League is an organization of mothers and daughters in chapters all around the United States. They believe in fostering mother-daughter relationships in philanthropy and are dedicated to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
The East Valley Women’s League is a long time friend of Maggie’s Place. Their mission is to help and empower underprivileged women and children in the community. They support projects through fundraising and volunteerism. Their overarching mission is to “help empower and inspire women and children to lead more promising lives.”
Happy Halloween from everyone at Maggie’s Place.
