Maggie’s Place offers a caring support system and source of hope to women experiencing homelessness during the critical time of pregnancy and baby’s first year. We provide a nurturing and stable home, nutritious food, infant supplies, access to medical care, and programs that are trauma informed, focused on building resiliency and strengthening families.
Qualifications
To qualify for a Maggie’s Place home, a mother must be:
- Willing to live in community
- Homeless and pregnant
- Age 18 or older
- Free from immediate physical danger
- Without other children in her immediate care
Intake Process
The process begins with our intake specialist at 602-246-3724.
If a call is unanswered, we ask that a message be left as calls are returned in the order in which they are received.
The intake call is followed by a meeting at our Family Success Center where we complete a series of interview questions to determine if Maggie’s Place is an appropriate program. Moms are asked to bring proof of pregnancy.
The intake process can range from one day to a few weeks depending on availability.
