The Race Committee is hard at work. Racelab is plotting the course and collecting registrations. It’s almost time for A Race For Maggie’s Place. This year’s event is Sunday, October 7 at Tempe Town Lake.
There are a few changes. We’ve rearranged the schedule a bit, made the kids races a little more interesting and are striving to make the day a family party. We’ve eliminated the 15K at the suggestion of our race coordinators. So the race lineup is Kids 1 Mile, Toddler Race, 10K, 9K and 5K–a race for everyone. And a place for every type of walker or stroller push. The kids will race first so everyone can cheer them on.
